Based in St. George, we are the Red Rocks Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Utah. Our goal is to improve blind people’s lives through advocacy, education, research, technology and programs encouraging independence and self-confidence.
We believe in blind people because we are blind people. We are bound together by our belief that the blind is capable of achieving our dreams and living the lives we want, and by the love and respect we have for one another and for all blind Americans. We support one another, act with courage and determination when we encounter barriers or experience setbacks, and engage in collective action to improve our lives.
Our Chapter meets on the third Saturday of every month. upcoming meeting dates are as follows:
December 16th, Our Annual Christmas Party will be at the Brick Oven from 12-2 p.m. Lunch is free for members and $15 for non-members. There will be a white elephant gift exchange, no more than $5. We are also asking that you bring a non-perishable item to donate to the food bank. This meeting you will need to RSVP by December 12th by e-mailing email@example.com.
Have questions about adaptive technology? We also host a Technology Interest Group. This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at RRCI 168 N 100 E St. George, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Upcoming dates for this meeting are November 28th and December 19th.
